PAWSfor Rehabilitation is seeking a Rehabilitation-Certified Veterinarian (CCRP, CCRT, or equivalent) to join our growing practice. This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian passionate about pain management, mobility, and improving quality of life for patients through integrative and evidence-based rehabilitation care. Advanced training in rehabilitation, acupuncture or chiropractic is preferred but not required.

Led by Dr. Patterson, who is certified in rehabilitation, acupuncture, and pain management, our team is deeply committed to restoring mobility and improving quality of life for every patient. Dr. Patterson is passionate about helping patients return to optimal function while effectively managing pain.
PAWSis equipped with state-of-the‑art diagnostic technology, including a Shockwave, PRP, Gait Rite Computerized Gait Analysis and Diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, LASER therapy and 2 Underwater Treadmills. These allow for precise assessment and individualized treatment planning. We also offer advanced therapeutic options such as shockwave therapy and PRP treatments.

- Perform rehabilitation evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapies including therapeutic exercise, laser therapy, manual techniques, and other modalities
- Collaborate with team members who provide therapies
- Collaborate with referring veterinarians and specialists
- Educate clients on at‑home care and long‑term mobility plans
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical records
- DVM or VMD degree
- Active Virginia veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure)
- Rehabilitation certification (CCRP, CCRT, or equivalent required)
- Strong communication skills and client‑centered approach
- Passion for pain management, mobility, and patient advocacy
- Acupuncture certified or interest in attaining certification
