** Medical Records Coordinator**!

Location:

Rockville, VA Headquarters Rate:
Commensurate with experience + great benefits
** Responsibilities:
*** Utilize the EHR system and related software to process and document applicants and/or patients for medical clearance.
* Manage incoming messages, review and upload medical documentation, and route charts to the appropriate medical department staff.
* Coordinate with the medical department throughout the clearance process to ensure timely communication and a seamless applicant experience.
* Collaborate with medical and cross-functional teams to identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and consistency.
* Participate in and contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned.
* Additional duties of maintaining strict HIPAA compliance, handling confidential patient information, and providing professional, courteous communication to applicants
** Requirements:
*** Associate’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in healthcare administration, records management, or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrates professionalism and teamwork in all interactions.
* Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
* Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Workday, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
* Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA standard
