Pharmacist-in-Charge

Health Care Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to fill an opening with a Fortune 500 Company in Appomattox, VA. Out of state candidates welcome to apply!

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacist-in-Charge:

• Perform all functions of a staff pharmacist and act as a role model for the pharmacy team; appropriately handle customer complaints and direct
• Provide patient education
• Shift: As the Pharmacist Leader, they will have the autonomy to create their own schedule | As the leader, needs to be flexible!
  Weekdays – Open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  Weekends – Open from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Saturdays 10 – 5 on Sundays

Required Qualifications for Pharmacist-in-Charge:

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy and/or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree (Pharm.D.) from an accredited U.S. School of Pharmacy
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing
• Communication skills
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical software

Preferred Qualifications for Pharmacist-in-Charge:

• 2+ years retail experience
• Ability to read and interpret prescriptions and documents
• Ability to handle stressful situations

Pay Details: $125K - $145K per year Salary
