Based in Roanoke, Virginia, you will play an important role in performing accurate diagnostic procedures on patients using state‑of‑the‑art equipment for radiological diagnosis.

• Perform accurate diagnostic procedures on patients.
• Assess patients prior to, during, and after procedures in accordance with Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
• Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
• Position patients to obtain quality images.
• Perform IV contrast injections, urinary catheterizations, and/or other procedures as required.
• Utilize RIS (Radiology Information System) and electronic medical records.
• Train students and staff as assigned.
• May be cross‑trained on laboratory phlebotomy and operate laboratory waived testing equipment according to CLIA regulations.
• May be trained to perform EKGs.

• Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• No prior experience required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry required.
• Virginia state license required.
• AHA BLS‑HCP required.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
