Position Summary
Standardized Patients are used in medical simulations to create realistic educational encounters with medical students. Students gain valuable experience practicing communication and exam techniques.
Responsibilities- Presents professional demeanor around other staff and client
- Hours/Days: up to 29 hours/week, as needed
- Must be comfortable being examined by medical students of either gender
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Must have regular and reliable access to email and a working phone number
- Experience in the field of acting or role-play
- Experience in giving feedback in basic communication skills
- An interest in medicine or medical education
