How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

• Perform accurate diagnostic procedures on patients using state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
• Assess patients prior to, during, and after procedures according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
• Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
• Position patients to obtain quality images.
• Perform IV contrast injections, urinary catheterizations, and other procedures as required.
• Utilize RIS (Radiology Information System) and electronic medical records.
• Train students and staff as assigned.
• May be cross‑trained on laboratory phlebotomy and operate laboratory waive testing equipment according to CLIA regulations.
• May be trained to perform EKGs.

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Experience:
  
  None required.
• Licensure, certification, and/or registration:
  Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registry required;
  Virginia state license required.
• AHA BLS-HCP required.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.

Compensation range: $23.97 - $35.96 per hour (employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience). The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
