Responsibilities- Chiefly a companion, engage in meaningful conversations and provide emotional support to seniors.
- Assist with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Handle medication management: reminders and ensuring adherence to prescribed schedules.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and essential outings.
- Monitor health: observe changes and report to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Maintain accurate care records and note significant changes in client condition.
- 1 year of CNA/NA/PCA experience preferred.
- Willing to accept new PCAs/CNAs and provide in‑home care training.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; may drive clients in own vehicle (mileage reimbursed).
- Willing to work in homes with pets (cats and/or dogs).
- Passionate about helping others.
- Enjoys customer service and communication with clients.
- Desire to help community and make a difference in someone’s life.
- Engage in fun, engaging conversations to build relationships.
- Participate in clients’ favorite hobbies (scrap booking, gardening, games, etc.).
- Prep meals for clients to enjoy.
- Assist clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living.
- Report completed activities and provide status updates on clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.
- Starting pay rate of $17.
