** Hiring Range**$18.90 - $24.60/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.  
** Overview
* * Responsible for the scheduling of patient appointments with specialists, scheduling tests at appropriate facilities, coordinating completion for insurance mandated referrals and authorizations prior to the date of service.

** What you will do*
* * Coordinates appointment scheduling and obtains timely insurance referrals/authorizations to ensure quality patient care. Educates patient regarding protocol for tests/appointments.
* Keeps up to date on referral criteria by reviewing updates from insurance carriers and attending training. Recommends to office manager any process improvements needed to improve quality of service. Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
* Processes physician and patient requests for tests and referrals in a timely manner. Responds appropriately and timely to patient calls.
