This is an exciting opportunity for a L3 Social Worker with experience in Mental Health to join the Mental Health Social Work Team in Halifax. You’ll be earning £28.22 per hour for a full-time position working 37 hours over 5 days. This role offers the flexibility of hybrid working, with 3 days in the office and 2 from home. Your expertise, particularly if you have experience with S117, will be vital in making a difference in the community.

• Conduct assessments of service users with complex mental health needs to develop effective care plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to mental health services.
• Advocate for service users to ensure their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
• Provide crisis intervention and supportive counselling as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports in line with legislative and organisational policies.

• A degree or equivalent in social work and current Social Work England registration.
• Significant frontline experience in Social Services within the UK as a qualified Social Worker.
• Experience with S117 is preferable.
