Family First Psychological Services, established in 2008, is a thriving practice that specializes in providing high-quality therapy and psychological testing for children, teens, and adults.

We are seeking a full-time or part-time Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) with a strong focus in psychological assessment of children and adolescents
. Psychotherapy is optional and based on clinician interest.

• Conduct psychological evaluations and integrate multi-method assessment data
• Provide thoughtful, thorough, well-written reports with diagnostic clarity and treatment recommendations
• Collaborate with families, schools, and referral sources as needed
• Optional:
  Provide psychotherapy services to children and adolescents

Clinicians in this role will primarily conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and adolescents, including:

• ADHD and executive functioning evaluations
• Autism spectrum assessments
• Psycho-educational testing (e.g., learning disorders, academic concerns)
• Cognitive and personality assessment
• Diagnostic clarification for complex clinical presentations

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology
• Active Virginia licensure (or eligibility)
• Strong interest and experience in child and adolescent psychological assessment
• Competence in integrating cognitive, behavioral, and personality data into diagnostic formulation
• Excellent interpersonal and clinical writing skills
• Ability to manage a caseload independently
• Clear and timely record-keeping

• Compensation up to $200,000 annually
