Shannex, a family‑owned organization, is seeking a Resident Experience Manager to lead the Parkland at the Gardens community in Halifax. The role focuses on maintaining quality, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence in housekeeping, hospitality, and food & beverage services.

• Maintain quality and resident satisfaction of the Parkland community.
• Ensure service delivery meets established brand standards in terms of quality, safety, timeliness, and customer service.
• Establish strong processes using resident feedback to influence operational practices.
• Oversee the orientation of new residents.
• Provide leadership and direction to housekeeping and hospitality services teams.
• Accountable for management and performance of both departments.
• Manage professional development of all team members.
• Oversee operating budget and spending processes for food and beverage department.
• Direct safety & wellness culture of housekeeping and hospitality services team.
• Additional related duties as required.

• University Degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or similar.
• 2‑3 years in a management role within Hospitality or Seniors Living environment.
• Passion for working with seniors and experience in a seniors’ living or long‑term care environment.
• Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia Care Course considered an asset.
