What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Food Runner to join our team! They are responsible for ensuring accurate food orders as well as timely delivery.

Your role :
* Be thoroughly familiar with the menus, ingredients, and methods of preparation for each dish, wine list, as well as hours of operation for all food and beverage outlets.
* Deliver food from kitchen to the guest ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Assist in clearing, cleaning and set-up of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass and silver for service in an unobtrusive manner; greet guests according to VGH standards.
* Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
* Assist in stocking linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service; assist in preparation of smaller items such as toast, soup, or beverages
* Be thoroughly familiar with all standards of proper service etiquette and will practice these standards throughout the guests dining experience.
* Maintains high standards of cleanliness (personal appearance, equipment, and facility) always.
* Someone with an engaging and welcoming personality
* Someone with knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
* Someone who can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Someone with a passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
* Someone with excellent communication skills
* Ability to work, weekend, nights and holidays.
