This role is part of the Augusta National Fellowship Program, a 10-month, paid post‑graduate program based onsite in Augusta, Georgia. The program provides Fellows with hands‑on professional experience and meaningful opportunities to contribute within their respective areas while gaining exposure to Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament. Housing assistance is available for this Fellowship. Through rotations across various departments, the Club Management Fellow will gain firsthand experience in key areas such as fine dining, member relations, front office operations, beverage service, housekeeping, and special event coordination.

Like all positions at Augusta National, this position must maintain the strict confidentiality of all Club business.

Essential Functions of the Job
  • Assist in various service roles, learning the intricacies of fine dining, event setup, breakdown, and guest interactions.
  • Shadow key team members across different shifts to understand the full scope of service.
  • Learn to navigate the Property Management System (Versa), and assist with daily reporting and transportation coordination.
  • Support front office staff with membership services, check‑ins/check‑outs, and other operational tasks.
  • Gain exposure to wine tastings, cellar organization, and beverage procurement, and learn the fundamentals of sommelier practices.
  • Assist in beverage service during member parties and special events.
  • Observe and assist with cabin cleaning and preparation for events.
  • Support linen room operations, turndown services, and the completion of daily housekeeping duties.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of major events, including The Masters Week, members’ dinners, and tournaments.
  • Support the F&B team with event setup, guest service, and overall event management.
  • Engage with a dedicated mentor to receive guidance and career development insights.
  • Participate in weekly check‑ins with managers to track progress, receive constructive feedback, and address questions or challenges.
  • Assist with inventory tracking, supplies management, and preparation for end‑of‑year projects.
  • Contribute to the planning and organization of employee appreciation events, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Contribute to a collaborative work environment, demonstrating adaptability and a strong work ethic throughout the fellowship.
Physical Demands

Physical demands are outlined immediately below.

  • Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties.
  • Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach with hands and arms, operate a computer and/or drive a golf cart.
  • Constantly required to use arms, hands and fingers to handle, organize or lift items up to 50 pounds.
  • Constantly required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use vision to perform an activity such as but not limited to determining the accuracy, neatness, attention to detail, and thoroughness of the work assigned.

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Performs all other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job. Provide exceptional service to members and guests. Engage in mentorship, continuous learning, and networking opportunities, while collaborating with team members across departments to ensure efficient service. Meet with Senior Director, Club and Hospitality on a regular basis to discuss fellowship progress and set future goals.
