Daily Tasks- Analyzes, interprets and explains provisions of labor agreements.
- Coordinates related actions with Authority officials and advised same with appropriate information, technical assistance and recommendations regarding la wide variety of labor and management issues.
- Assures consistent and uniform application of policies.
- Prepares complex narrative reports, correspondence and other documents as assigned while meeting critical deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Labor or Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Economics or a related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in contact administration, grievance handling, and workplace dispute resolution in a complex organization may be considered.
About this position – Standard hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one (1) hour unpaid lunch break. However, the COTR may request temporary services for periods in excess of a seven and one half (7.5) hour day or a thirty-seven and one-half hour (37.5) hour week. Temporary personnel working six (6) hours or more are required to take a one-half hour unpaid lunch break.
Overtime:
Hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in one week is considered as overtime work, all overtime must be approved by the COTR in advance.
