About The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our team in a fast‑paced, heavy industrial manufacturing environment at our Jamison and Fredericksburg locations. This role will play a critical part in supporting our workforce, with a strong emphasis on employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and workforce engagement. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem‑solver, comfortable working closely with production teams, and committed to fostering a positive and compliant workplace culture.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are highly preferred, and experience with Lean principles in a manufacturing setting will be considered a strong asset.
- Serve as a trusted partner to employees and leaders on HR‑related matters, focusing on employee relations and workplace culture.
- Manage full‑cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding for hourly production and salaried roles.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
- Create, update, and roll out company policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with employment law and business needs.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and facilitate orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a positive new‑hire experience that reflects our collaborative and respectful culture.
- Partner with operations leadership to drive employee engagement, retention, and recognition programs.
- Administer HR processes, including leaves of absence, benefits, and attendance management.
- Collaborate with leadership on continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean tools and a creative mindset to enhance HR processes and the employee experience.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
- Willingness to travel between Fredericksburg and Culpeper, VA.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding.
- Demonstrated experience in policy development and implementation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict‑resolution skills that promote a respectful workplace.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience with UKG a plus.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment while staying sustainable in approach.
