About the Job

At The Arnott's Group, our manufacturing sites are at the heart of what we do. We're looking for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our Virginia site, our largest manufacturing operation across the network.

Supporting a workforce of more than 600 employees, you'll partner closely with leaders across the site to provide strategic and operational HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. With a workforce comprising both salaried and frontline employees, this role offers the opportunity to influence culture, capability, employee engagement and business performance at scale.

As a trusted advisor, you'll work side-by-side with leaders, helping them navigate people challenges, build high-performing teams and deliver practical HR solutions that support both employees and the business.

About You

You're a confident and credible HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships and being close to the operation. You're naturally curious, ask questions, challenge constructively and can quickly build trust with leaders and employees alike.

You thrive in complex, fast-moving environments and bring a pragmatic approach to problem-solving. Whether you're coaching leaders, managing employee relations matters or supporting organisational change, you're comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Most importantly, you're someone who genuinely enjoys partnering with the business and helping leaders create positive outcomes for their teams.

What Your Days Look Like
  • Partnering with operational leaders across a large manufacturing site
  • Providing advice and coaching on people leadership, performance, talent and employee relations matters
  • Supporting workforce planning, organisational change and business improvement initiatives
  • Building leadership capability and helping leaders navigate complex people situations
  • Acting as a key contact for unions and union delegates, fostering effective working relationships and supporting consultation processes
  • Supporting Enterprise Agreement interpretation and application, including providing guidance to leaders, bargaining preparation, communications and negotiations
  • Providing commercially considered guidance and advice to key stakeholders on conduct matters, people strategies, compliance obligations and employee relations risks
  • Driving employee engagement, culture and retention initiatives
  • Collaborating with specialist People & Culture teams to deliver people programs across the site
  • Contributing to a safe, inclusive and high-performing workplace culture
The Ingredients for Success
  • Experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar role
  • Strong employee and industrial relations experience within a manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, distribution or operational environment
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with leaders in large, complex work forces
  • Ability to influence, coach and challenge stakeholders at varying levels of the business
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
  • Experience working with both frontline and salaried employee populations
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
  • Opportunity to work within one of Australia's most recognised FMCG organisations
  • Access to learning and development opportunities
  • Health and wellbeing initiatives
  • Employee product benefits
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment
Our Culture

At The Arnott's Group, you'll join a business with a rich heritage and an exciting future. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where people can bring their whole selves to work, contribute meaningful ideas and grow their careers.

You'll be part of a People & Culture team that is passionate about supporting our employees and helping our sites succeed through great leadership, strong partnerships and practical people solutions.
