Job Description
Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. Reynolds Community College is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead and support the college’s recruitment and onboarding processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring a positive candidate experience and providing expert guidance to college administrators throughout the employment process.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures compliance with EEO /AA, VCCS , and DHRM requirements in the advertisement, screening, referral, selection, and hiring of full-time and part-time faculty, classified staff, and wage/hourly positions, as well as processing tasks for work-study personnel.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for all employee classifications.
- Advise hiring managers and administrators on recruitment strategies and compliance with employment regulations and institutional policies.
- Maintain recruitment records and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and VCCS requirements.
- Support continuous improvement in hiring practices and onboarding processes to promote equity, efficiency, and exceptional service.
