Overview

Dev Ops Cloud Architect

The Dev Ops Cloud Architect (DOCA) is a master level engineer with in-depth knowledge and experience as it relates to CI/CD, Security, Operations, & Development. The DOCA will provide leadership, consultation, project management, & enterprise solutions regarding IT Technology, Business Initiatives, & Partner Integrations. As well, the DOCA will actively support, maintain, report, & monitor all related production & non-production systems, while assuring high availability, scalability, & recovery through the means of automation.

The DOCA will maintain cloud efficiency, cost awareness, security, access management, & an effective learning schedule.

Experience
  • 3+ years of experience developing enterprise cloud solutions
  • 3+ years of experience managing production systems
  • 2+ years of experience developing CI/CD Pipelines
  • 2+ years of experience developing automation workflows using Open Source Tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Sonar Qube, Selenium)

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience

Job Responsibilities
  • Automate deployment, configuration of resources, & CI/CD methodology
  • Design & implement telemetry (tracing, indicators, & metrics)
  • Design site reliability (alerting, prediction, & health checks)
  • Solution storage, virtual machines, & virtual networking
  • Solution & support active directory, JIT, PIM, Access Management, RBAC, & hybrid identities
  • Manage Azure workloads, Azure governance solutions, & application Security
  • Design policies, blueprints, certificate vaults, & enforcement mechanisms
  • Solution load balancers, gateways, routes, peers, & network security
  • Implement application infrastructure & container-based applications
  • Design for Cost Optimization, logging, & monitoring
  • Design authentication, authorization, governance, & security
  • Solution data, tables, database, data integration, & storage
  • Solution backup & recovery, scalability, & high availability
  • Design compute, network, & application architecture
  • Design source control, repositories, & tools
  • Kubernetes (Git Ops) Infrastructure & Deployments
Technical Skills
  • Experience leveraging tools like: T-SQL, ARM, CFT, Power Shell, Python, C#, Bash
  • In-depth knowledge using cloud technology (reporting, logging, analytics, services, functions, dashboards, queries, & access management)
  • Hands on experience work with Azure: vNets, Subnets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, Private Links, DNS Zones, Route Tables, Access Lists, Firewall Settings, & AD Integration
  • Experience with Scalability Sets, Availability Groups, Zones, & Regions
  • In-depth knowledge of remediating security findings, setting exceptions, & defining policy
  • Should have solid problem-solving skills, professional demeanor, team oriented, contribute at all levels, strong technical skills, multi-task, excellent work ethic, and excellent communication
  • Experience with containerization technologies, development, and deployment (ECS, Docker, Docker File, Argo CD, Kubernetes, Images & management)
  • Develop CI/CD pipelines (test integration, repo management, & security)
  • Experience using:
    Grafana, Prometheus, Jenkins, Sonar, Git, Artifactory, Ansible, Terraform, Azure Services, AWS, SQL, Ubuntu, Windows, & VMware, Kong API
  • Knowledge of operating systems and features:
    Windows Server, IIS, SQL, Linux, Proxy, etc.
  • Enterprise security solutions and implementation (password management, system accounts, access, SSO, Key Vaults, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Packet Tracing, Network Sniffers, and Network Analysis
  • Experience in API Management, SWAG, and Micro Service development, integration, and management
  • Experience with SQL server, management, clustering, read replicas, synchronization, etc.
  • Leverage Agile Methodology & perform Code Reviews
