Location: Crystal City, VA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday through Friday 8AM - 4PM. Position is contingent upon award.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Support Shift Lead to join our team. You will play a key part in ATG’s support of an enterprise level classified help desk comprised of subject matter experts and technical personnel supporting Government clients. Our team will provide direct support to personnel, providing an adaptable customer service experience while ensuring KPIs and SLAs are maintained.

This position will support the day shift (8AM-4PM).

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead customer interactions through help desk ticket assessment and resolution.
  • Lead interactions with customers by utilizing trouble tickets to track, monitor and resolve issues.
  • Lead help desk resolutions via phone calls and technical conversations adhering to SLAs and resolution requirements.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding software applications and present solutions.
  • Analyze errors to isolate issues, response times, latency, etc.
  • Engage with product software development engineering as needed to resolve issues, document solutions, ensure product serviceability, usability and supportability, and incorporate into our software development lifecycle.
  • Provide oversight of personnel on contract related to all tasks and activities.
  • Support briefings to senior level management responsible for providing direction to the program.
  • Support incident management procedures and reporting.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical, vendor, and personnel issues with respect to timelines.
  • Ensure schedules are accurate and complete prior to reporting and escalate issues to appropriate leadership.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Security Clearance Level: Must hold an active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) level clearance.
  • Seven (7) years experience in Help Desk environments, including experience leading a team of individuals.
  • Experience supporting COOP sites and testing COOP requirements including switch-over and data backups.
  • The candidate will be required to participate in 12 weeks training upon hire, including bootcamp and lab; after training, the candidate must pass an exam for certification.

Desired:

  • DoD 8140 certification(s)
  • Four-year or higher degree in a computer- or information-science–related field.
  • Experience in a DoD or Government IT support environment.
Physical and Environmental Conditions
  • Work to be performed out of Crystal City, VA, supporting various missions across the area of responsibility.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods in an office setting.
  • Must be able to travel, as needed, to Colorado City, CO.
