Building Automation Field Technician

Job Title: BAS/Controls Field Technician

Travel: Regional (up to 75% max, fully expensed per diem)

Are you an experienced BAS/Controls Field Technician who wants to work on mission-critical data center projects where controls performance actually matters?

This role sits with a fastest growing owner’s representative firm in the data center market delivering high-profile data center builds across the country. This employer is a core partner to AWS, Meta, and Google with 90% of their project pipeline being hyperscale work.

You’ll be embedded on projects where uptime, commissioning quality, and control logic are non-negotiable.

• Install and coordinate BAS / HVAC controls, including wiring and field devices
• Lead on-site execution and manage subcontractors
• Support commissioning, startup, and advanced troubleshooting
• Act as the technical BAS point of contact on site
• Document progress and support site surveys and future project scoping

Hands‑on field role with real authority, not a clipboard position.

• Solid knowledge of Tridium Niagara (N4) and/or Distech Controls
• Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical systems, and controls wiring
• Able to read and interpret construction and shop drawings
• Comfortable leading on site and working directly with clients
• Willing to travel regionally across Oregon and Washington

Data center experience is a plus, not a requirement!
