*** Requires an associate’s degree, vocational/technical training, or equivalent experience, plus typically 4 years of related field work.
* Serve as a subject matter expert and internal consultant for manufacturing line skills.
* Demonstrates extensive knowledge of manufacturing techniques and applies new technologies to enhance production processes.
* Presents information effectively in one-on-one or small group settings to colleagues and management.
* Interprets moderately complex instructions and performs standard mathematical calculations across all units of measure.
* Computer rates, ratios, and percentages while proficiently drawing and interpreting bar graphs.
* Resolves practical issues and manages concrete variables in environments with limited standardization.
* Successfully deciphered instructions delivered in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats

** role involves managing daily production flow and resource allocation while driving process improvements, overseeing department budgets, and providing consistent performance feedback to the team.
* Provide ongoing feedback on performance of individuals through both formal and informal evaluations.
* Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
* Coordinate people’s resource requirements for the department.
* Assist in department budget planning and manage department expenses.
* Communicate daily plan and any production or customer service issues
* Highlight material shortages, interface with Expediter/Purchasing on any part shortages
* Recognize and monitor bottlenecks.
* Report and alert resources concerning downtime.
