Job Title: IT Technician

Location: Vienna, VA (Onsite – 5 days/week)

Business Unit: Desktop Support

Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour on W2

Experience

Required:

1–5 years

We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 desktop support in a fast-paced, onsite environment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting, asset management, and end‑user support.

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
• Support PC, laptop, and thin client devices.
• Document operating procedures and maintain accurate ticket notes.
• Manage and update tickets using Service Now or a similar ticketing system.
• Perform asset management and inventory control, including:
  • Scanning and tracking equipment
  • Updating asset records
  • Managing equipment collection and deployment
• Handle employee workstation moves, including:
  • Equipment tear‑downs
  • Installations
  • Cable management
• Work independently and collaboratively within a large team environment.

• 1–5 years of experience in desktop or technical support.
• Experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PC, laptop, and thin client hardware.
• Experience with Service Now or a comparable ticketing system.
• Knowledge of asset management and inventory control processes.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain detailed documentation.
