IT Support Specialist – part‑time. The role involves a wide range of administrative and IT support tasks in support of a small office, 10–12 hours per week. Schedule is flexible during normal business hours. This part‑time position will groom the future employee to assume a full‑time role on a funded DOD contract. Candidates must live near the Luray, VA area for on‑site work.

Day / M‑F

$14.00 per hour

• Work as part of a Help Desk team.
• Track and log tickets in accordance with I.T. Department policy.
• Maintain small peer‑to‑peer computer network.
• Install and configure IT resources, including computers and printers.
• Ensure that all PC hardware is in good working condition.
• Ensure that all PC software is loaded correctly.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Minimum:
  High School Diploma.
• 1 year or more related experience.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Suites.
• Knowledge of Anti‑Virus & Backup Software.
• Knowledge of basic office administration processes.
• Must possess troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Clearance: N/A

Mental Requirements: Must be able to multi‑task and rapidly change priorities with limited notice.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit/stand at a desk for long periods and lift 20 pounds occasionally.
