The Opportunity

Come join our CACI team to be part of an innovative fast‑paced highly technical IT team as a Service Now Developer in support of the EITaaS contract for the United States Air Force.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expertise on technical capabilities related to development of Service Now.
  • Develop technical solutions, implement them, and perform integration and functional testing.
  • Work with senior leadership and a team with a variety of subject matter expertise on the criteria and process maps required for the Service Now environment development.
  • Provide excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members.
  • Ability to understand technical and functional design requirements related to Service Now.
  • Create and manage scripts and workflows/flows.
  • Build dashboards based on application data models and external data sources.
  • Address problems of systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms.
  • Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements.
  • Instruct, assign, direct and check the work of others on the development team.
  • Participate in development of software documentation and technical reports.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and backlog refinement.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Secret clearance preferred; or ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
  • 12+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of Service Now development skills.
  • Advanced experience with Service Now implementations.
  • Experience with development and implementation of Service Now ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
  • Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs - all scripted aspects of the Service Now system.
  • Experience with Service Now client and server‑side JavaScript and the Service Now APIs.
  • Scripted Web‑Services, AJAX, Business Rules, JavaScript, SOAP, REST SSO‑SAML Setup and Integration of Service Now to Other Applications.
  • Customizing Service Now using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
  • Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholders.
  • At least one of the following certifications:
  • Certified Service Now Developer
  • Certified Service Now Administrator
  • Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, CSM, or similar)
  • A fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL and CMDB.
  • Significant experience with complex catalog items and supporting flows.
  • Ideal candidate must be self‑motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies and comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
  • Candidate must be organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
  • JavaScript/Angular

    JS development experience.
  • System integration experience using web services and other web‑based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
