About Our Opportunity

Are you a skilled developer looking to make a meaningful impact through public service? Join our team as an Intermediate .NET Developer
, where you will contribute to the development and support of a large-scale, custom-built application that helps deliver essential services to citizens. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment alongside experienced professionals, with opportunities to grow your technical skills and contribute to high-impact projects.

The successful candidate will collaborate with other developers on the team to support a large custom developed .NET application using primarily ASP.NET and Oracle PL/SQL. They will also contribute to regularly scheduled projects that will enhance and expand capabilities and services that align with business needs and government standards.

Primary Accountabilities
  • Develop and maintain components of a major government application using ASP.NET and Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Participate in agile development cycles to enhance system functionality and improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with senior developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Write secure, maintainable, and high-quality code, tests, and documentation.
  • Support production operations and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability.
  • Contribute to data migration, conversion, and extraction tasks using SQL.
  • Assist in implementing API integrations with other government systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and design discussions to improve solution quality.
  • Learn and apply government standards for security, accessibility, and performance.
  • Engage in continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications and Experience

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
  • Graduation from a recognized Information Technology program and a minimum of three and a half (3.5) years of related experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Technical

Skills:

  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL, and PL/SQL or T-SQL.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and responsive UI/UX design.
  • Familiarity with microservices, REST/SOAP APIs, and integration architectures.
  • Exposure to tools like Ansible, Sonar Qube, Jenkins, Bamboo.
  • Experience working in Agile environments using tools like Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, Git Hub, Git Lab.
