AT&T has an opening for aTelephony Tier 2

Operations and Maintenance Technician to support the
24 x 7 Network Operations Centerin providing telephony operations and equipment expertise.
** Job Duties/Responsibilities:
*** Install, repair, andmaintaina variety of telephony and related equipment including telephone switches, remote switching modules,VOIP systems, and trunk interfaces.
* Providecustomerswithcapabilities ofdesign services and make recommendations as to new equipment, upgrades, and capabilities to be incorporated into the existing network.
* Employin-depth knowledge of telephone switching and network technologies and hardware including VOIP.
* Monday-Friday  and occasional after hours support as required
** Required Clearance:
** TSSCI (#tssci) (#polygraph)
*
* Required Qualifications:

*** Familiarity with leading telephony equipment vendors such as Avaya, Cisco, and DSG.
* One of the following certifications is required:

Avaya, VOIP, STU/STE, Call Managers, ACD, Tempest Repair
* End user equipment familiarity is also required.
* Candidate must have a total of10 years of applicable experience. The experience can be a combination of degree and work history. This can be a High School degree and 10 years of work history OR an Associate’s and 8 years, a Bachelors’ and 6 years, aMaster'sand 4 years or a PhD and 0years of work history.

Our Tier 2 Telephony Technician's earn between $79,300 -$158,582. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
