Job Title:
SAP MDG Functional Consultant
Work Location & Reporting Address:
Jacksonville, FL 32202 (Hybrid)
Visa requirement:
Only U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders.
- 12+ years of experience in SAP Master Data Governance.
- Strong master data management skills, including developing and working with data migration tools.
- Certification in SAP is an added advantage.
- Experience with SAP Data Migration techniques/tools such as LTMC, LSMW, BAPI, Batch Recording, BODS, SDI, EDI, and Winshuttle.
- Knowledge of SAP Master data tables and navigation.
- Experience in S4 or ECC implementation/rollout (at least one).
- Experience in handling critical incidents and escalations.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (Problem, Change, Incident Management).
- Flexible to work 24/7 and provide coverage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest technology.
- Configure and customize SAP Master Data Management for various master data types.
- Design data models that reflect organizational structures.
- Perform data quality management: cleansing, validation, and standardization.
- Implement process modeling, workflow, BRF+, and other MDG Badi enhancements.
- Integrate SAP MDG with other sub-systems, SAP S/4, non‑SAP systems, SAP ARIBA SLP, and Salesforce.
- Lead life cycle management of master data and data consolidation.
- Collaborate with functional team members to organize data loads and validations.
- Perform ABAP development and coding for custom logic, user exits, AMDP, and BADI enhancements.
- Ensure proper handling of transaction and master data objects (Customers, Vendors, Materials, pricing conditions, BOM, Business Partner, etc.).
- Maintain knowledge of master data integration impact across SD, MM, TPM, and FI functional areas.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Master Data Management configuration and customization.
- Experience with data modeling, process modeling, workflow, BRF+, and MDG Badi enhancement.
- Solid understanding of data migration objects (transactional and master) and related tools.
- Experience with SAP S/4, ARIBA, and Salesforce integration.
- ABAP development skills: user exit, AMDP, BADI enhancement.
- Team player, flexible, independent, target-oriented, and accountable for tasks.
