PAI is seeking an Information System Security Specialist to support U.S. Navy information assurance, cybersecurity documentation, accreditation support, automated information systems support, NMCI coordination, and security compliance activities in the Hampton Roads, VA area. This position supports technical and administrative Information Assurance documentation, certification, testing, accreditation, and coordination activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and administrative support for Information Assurance (IA) documentation, certification, and testing for automated information systems (AIS) in accordance with current DoW and NETWARCOM requirements.
  • Provide support related to technical analyses and best practices in the areas of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) and network and system vulnerabilities.
  • Prepare AIS Security Certification and Accreditation documentation for submission to the Designated Approving Authority (DAA).
  • Assist in resolution of NMCI issues.
  • Interface with NAVSEA II, NMCI providers, NETWARCOM, SEA
    08, PEO Aircraft Carriers Activity Chief Information Officer (ACIO), and NAVSEALOGCEN on behalf of the CPA for AIS accreditation.
Required Qualifications
  • A+ and Security+ certifications.
  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with NMCI and preparing AIS Security Certification and Accreditation documentation for submission to the Designated Approving Authority (DAA).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of professional experience.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is an information assurance professional with experience supporting DoW or Navy cyber security documentation, AIS certification and accreditation, NMCI issue resolution, and coordination with cybersecurity and information assurance stakeholders.
