IntroductionThe Sponsor requires support in operating and maintaining an AWS hosted software application and underlying databases. This support includes bug fixes of the current application, evolving and enhancing the application in response to user feedback and contractor recommendations, and supporting the Sponsor's strategic growth. The role also entails ensuring compliance with all IT, security, and other applicable policies, advising on risk mitigation, and implementing configuration management processes.
The estimated period of performance (POP) is one year.
- Demonstrated experience in software design and development using the full suite of Enterprise Sec Dev Ops tools to support Continuous Integration / Continuous Development services and microservices on a cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in full‑stack web application development using Vue (JavaScript), FastAPI (Python), and Postgre
SQL (managed Amazon Web Service (AWS) Relational Database Service (RDS)). - Demonstrated experience in cloud infrastructure‑as‑code networking and service administration, including deployment, operation, and maintenance of web services on a cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience implementing cloud architecture resiliency and on‑demand scaling practices.
- Demonstrated experience in user interface engineering, including the creation, promotion, and support of usability standards.
- Demonstrated experience architecting, designing, and developing large‑scale data solutions for efficient searching, analytics, and reporting.
- Demonstrated experience with entity resolution on large and continuously growing data sets.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Assessment and Authorization processing.
- Demonstrated experience managing data set permissions.
- Demonstrated experience in IT security compliance for systems, including auditing and monitoring.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing configuration management plans and processes for software applications and underlying databases.
- Demonstrated experience working with operating systems including FidOS and CLSE.
- Demonstrated experience developing containerized (Podman) applications.
- Certification in cloud architectures and services.
- Experience operating and maintaining systems on JWICS (Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System).
- Experience ingesting data records into software applications.
- Experience handling exceptional records as defined by Sponsor regulations and safeguarding U.S. person information.
- Experience designing and developing content on digital platforms such as Confluence.
- Experience designing and developing Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning algorithms at scale.
- Experience using Sigma and Analytic Workbench platforms for quality control and assurance of application performance.
- Experience deploying applications via Kubernetes or similar container cluster orchestration, such as AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).
- Experience developing applications using Sponsor‑developed Cookie Cutter templates.
- Experience using Sponsor tools to facilitate Assessment and Authorization processing.
- Experience using Sponsor tools to manage data set permissions.
- Experience working with Sponsor‑developed development and production operating systems including FidOS and CLSE.
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
- The position is expected to be onsite at the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel/POV will occur as needed within the local place of performance.
