Data Engineer, Database Administrator, Data Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a Data Lead/Data Architect, who is responsible for architecting, designing, developing and maintaining data architecture across the Agile Release Train (ART), while ensuring high levels of data integrity and availability. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding the business requirements and implementing data solutions to facilitate the Engineering Tool Suite.

SQL databases. - Manage the complete lifecycle of database, business intelligence and data analytics projects from inception to phase operationalization.
- Large database migrations from on‑prem to AWS cloud adhering to complex government standards.
- Work with government business sponsors to understand intent and clarify business/technical requirements and impacts across the train.
- Map systems and interfaces used to manage data, set standards for data management.
- Identify, design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re‑designing infrastructure for greater scalability.
- Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
- Monitor system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, integrating new features and estimating cost projections.
- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.
- Educate team members through training and individual support.
Over 10 years of experience in leading and implementing data solutions.
- Experience with data architecture, data modeling, database design and data warehousing.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and No
SQL databases. - Excellent communication and documentation skills to articulate complex database concepts.
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling techniques and database design for both transactional and analytical systems.
- Proven experience in managing large‑scale databases and handling data migration projects.
- Proficiency in advanced SQL concepts and development of complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers and packages.
- Strong background in developing, testing and maintaining data applications, including ETL processes, data pipelines and APIs.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Knowledge of database administration tasks, including backup, recovery, performance tuning and monitoring.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI).
- Experience with version control systems like Git and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile, scrum‑based team environment.
- Good to have experience in data engineering concepts using Python.
- Must be a US citizen or a permanent resident.
- Eligible to obtain Government Clearance.
Annual Pay Range (in USD): $123,000 - $184,000
The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. The actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and the specific skill set required for the work itself.
