Duration: 05 months

• Serve as the Configuration Manager within the IT Service Management (ITSM) organization
• Establish, govern, and continuously improve the Configuration Management process
• Ensure Configuration Management practices align with ITIL standards
• Maintain the accuracy, integrity, and traceability of Configuration Items (CIs)
• Support effective Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, and Fin Ops Management
• Own and manage the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Collaborate across functional and technical teams to ensure reliable service delivery
• Drive continuous improvement of Configuration Management maturity and CMDB health
• Integrate and manage Azure resources within a third-party CMDB (Ivanti Neurons for ITSM)

• Develop, implement, and maintain Configuration Management policies, procedures, and standards
• Ensure compliance with ITIL best practices and policies
• Own and govern the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
• Define and enforce Configuration Item (CI) identification, classification, control, and reporting standards
• Collaborate with Change, Incident, Problem, and Fin Ops teams to support service management processes
• Partner with Infrastructure, Network, Security, and Application teams to collect and maintain CI data
• Integrate Azure cloud resources into the CMDB to support operational and financial visibility
• Monitor, audit, and validate configuration data to ensure data quality and reliability
• Establish, track, and report KPIs and metrics for Configuration Management and CMDB health
• Provide leadership, guidance, and training to IT teams on Configuration Management best practices
• Support IT governance, risk management, audit, and compliance initiatives

• ITIL Foundation certification
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience designing and implementing Configuration Management policies and systems in enterprise environments
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience implementing and managing a CMDB with Azure resource integration
• Minimum of two (2) years of hands‑on experience with Ivanti Neurons for ITSM CMDB capabilities
• Proven experience in Configuration Management within an ITIL-aligned ITSM framework
• Strong understanding of ITIL v3 and/or ITIL v4 processes, including:
  Configuration Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management
• Hands‑on experience with CMDB tools, including CI class modeling and discovery tools
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams

• ITIL Intermediate or Expert‑level certification
• Experience with automation tools for Configuration Management
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP
• Experience with automation, discovery tooling, and scripting (Power Shell, Python)
• Familiarity with audit and compliance frameworks
