Reports to: Account Executive

Status: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Hybrid, Northern Virginia

Position Overview

Reporting to the Account Executive, the Cyber Security Project Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing projects at a high level while ensuring the day‑to‑day objectives are being met. The Project Manager will be responsible for the delivery team and will ensure effective communication with stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and project team members.
  • Managing the upkeep of Authorizations to Operate (ATOs), and assigning to Engineers for Assessments.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including the Information System Contingency Plan (ISCP), System Security Plan (SSP), Concept of Operation (CONOP), Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
  • Experience with NIST, FIPS, FISMA, FEDRAMP and RMF.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, project team members, and leadership to provide project updates, status reports, and recommendations.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and communication to ensure alignment and coordination among project stakeholders and team members.
  • Manage project budgets, expenses, and resource allocations to optimize project outcomes and ensure cost‑effectiveness.
  • Lead project meetings, workshops, and reviews to drive engagement, foster collaboration, and promote accountability.
  • Conduct post‑project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and best practices for future projects.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in software development projects.
  • Candidates with active Clearance (MBI preferred) are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • PMP Certified
  • IAT III Certified (CASP, CISSP, CISM etc.)

  • Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills to address challenges, resolve conflicts, and make timely and informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and Microsoft Project.
