Role Overview
The Enterprise AI Architect is responsible for defining and governing the organization’s AI architecture strategy, enabling scalable, secure, and business‑aligned adoption of AI across the enterprise. This role leads the design of AI platforms, Copilot experiences, and AI agents, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems, data platforms, and workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Define and evolve the enterprise AI architecture, including GenAI, copilots, and autonomous agents
- Establish reference architectures for AI solutions across business functions (Sales, Support, IT, Finance)
- Design and govern AI platforms leveraging Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, and enterprise data platforms
- Enable scalable integration of AI capabilities into SaaS and custom applications
- Define standards for building and deploying AI agents (naming, reuse, patterns, guardrails)
- Enable business teams and citizen developers to build AI‑powered workflows responsibly
- Define enterprise‑wide strategy for data readiness for AI (data quality, access, security)
- Partner with data teams to ensure AI models are grounded in trusted enterprise data
- Govern APIs, data pipelines, and integration layers supporting AI workloads
- Establish AI governance framework across intake, design, build, deployment, and monitoring
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Define standards for model lifecycle, versioning, monitoring, and performance tracking
- Establish frameworks for evaluation of AI outputs (accuracy, hallucination, bias)
- Align AI strategy with business priorities, productivity goals, and transformation initiatives
- Act as a thought leader for AI adoption, best practices, and emerging trends
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution architecture with a strong focus on delivering automations, AI/ML, and GenAI solutions
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Services, and enterprise AI platforms
- Strong understanding of LLM architectures, prompt engineering, and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) patterns
- Experience with vector databases (e.g., Azure AI Search, Azure Foundry) and enterprise data platforms supporting AI workloads
- Proficiency in enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, Net Suite, Snowflake, and Microsoft
365 - Experience enabling AI agents, automation, and low‑code/no‑code development across business functions
- Strong knowledge of APIs, integration frameworks, and enterprise automation platforms (e.g., Workato) supporting AI‑driven applications and workflows
- Excellent communication, executive storytelling, and stakeholder management skills
Base salary range: $177,000 – $295,000. This salary is complemented by a competitive total rewards package, including discretionary bonus, commission, equity, 401(k) plan with company match, flexible paid time off, holidays, caregiver and parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
