NTT DATA is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Now Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Developer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining our Service Now HAM capability and its integrations, ensuring accurate and efficient management of our hardware assets throughout their lifecycle.
Requirements- Design, develop, configure, and customize Service Now HAM
- Implement and maintain HAM capabilities such as asset lifecycle management, procurement, inventory, refresh, and disposal processes
- Develop and enhance Service Portal components for self-service asset requests, tracking, and reporting
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CMDB for all hardware assets, including CI relationships and attributes
- Develop and maintain integrations between Service Now HAM and external systems, inventory management systems and discovery tools
- Collaborate with ITAM and other business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and improve existing hardware asset management processes
- Identify opportunities for automation within the HAM lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Provide expert-level support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for the Service Now HAM module and related integrations
- Perform regular health checks, performance tuning, and apply platform upgrades or patches as needed
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, development guides, and test plans
- Adhere to Service Now best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
