Responsibilities
- Work with a team of analysts, engineers, and subject‑matter experts to extract meaning and context from vector and raster data sources.
- Use tools such as ArcGIS, QT Modeler, Remote View, and SOCET GXP to develop new methods for identifying patterns and connections that meet Department of War customer needs.
- Leverage satellite and airborne optical, infrared, and motion remote‑sensing solutions and analyze data acquired by aircraft, satellites, and ground platforms to assess meaning and potential intent.
- Design, analyze, develop, create, and map geospatial solutions for priorities including infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence.
- Build infrastructure analyses and formal reports so that war fighters and key stakeholders receive timely information.
- Lead and mentor teammates, develop workflows, and broaden skills into advanced analytics and data science by integrating other data sources into modeling and simulation workflows.
- 5+ years of experience with geospatial intelligence analysis supporting the DoD or an inter‑agency organization.
- Experience conducting geospatial analysis of objects and networks using geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial‑temporal data, imagery, and scientific principles.
- Proficiency with GEOINT tools such as the ESRI ArcGIS Pro software suite or ArcGIS Online.
- Knowledge of ETL best practices for geospatial data and of local and enterprise geodatabase design, management, and deployment.
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies.
- Ability to convey complex information and processes to a wide audience.
- Ability to manage multiple project deliverables with limited guidance in a dispersed team environment.
- TS/SCI clearance.
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Experience with web‑based GIS, including ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS.
- Experience with spatial statistics and spatiotemporal modeling methods.
- Experience with static and dynamic cartographic production.
- Experience automating geocoding.
- Experience working in the Defense or Intelligence community.
- Knowledge of defense and intelligence data sources or analytic tools.
- Master's degree.
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
Benefits & CompensationSalary range: $77,500.00 to $ (annualized USD). The posted range is one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package. Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, and retirement programs, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours a week are eligible.
