** Join our Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) Team as a Legal Project Manager. This role can be based in our Atlanta, Northern Virginia, or Philadelphia office.

** Position Summary
** The Legal Project Manager (LPM) is responsible for leading the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex legal and operational initiatives. Working closely with attorneys, practice leadership, IT, finance, and client stakeholders, the LPM ensures alignment with firm strategy, operational excellence, and client expectations. In addition to project execution, this role serves as a strategic partner in advancing legal operations maturity, supporting matter management discipline, and portfolio governance across the firm.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Project Planning & Execution
** Defines project objectives, scope, schedule, budget, and success metrics in partnership with sponsors
* Develops project charters, detailed workplans, and delivery roadmaps
* Leads geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes
* Executes projects across multiple delivery models, including Agile, hybrid, and traditional frameworks
* Leads coordinated delivery across testing, deployment, and adoption readiness
* Stakeholder Management
** Serves as a strategic partner and key point of contact for stakeholders, including Practice Group Managers, Shareholders, and Executive Leadership
* Communicates project statuses, risks, and issues to leadership, translating challenges into actionable plans
* Facilitates stakeholder meetings, training sessions, and team engagements
* Portfolio Management & Governance
** Manages the intake, triage, and prioritization of operational initiatives
* Drives and influences portfolio-level planning, prioritization, and execution
* Delivers executive-level reporting leveraging data to inform decision-making
* Develops annual roadmaps in collaboration with Practice Group and firm leadership
* Legal Operations & Matter Management
** Drives adoption of matter management best practices, including structured planning and resourcing models
* Develops and implements standardized templates, playbooks, and workflows
* Collaborates with legal operations stakeholders to enhance data quality, reporting, and operational maturity
* Client Relationship Management
** Serves as a client-facing project lead on select engagements
* Leads and facilitates client requirements, discovery discussions, and solution design sessions
* Manages and aligns client and internal stakeholder expectations proactively
* Delivers client-facing reporting, dashboards, and performance updates
* Partners with client legal operations teams to align on metrics, reporting, and delivery expectations
* Supports post-matter reviews to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities
* Technical Implementation & Process Innovation
** Leads implementation of technology platforms, AI tools, and process improvements
* Applies AI and automation to legal workflows, including document processes, knowledge management, and reporting
* Evaluates and deploys legal-specific AI solutions (e.g., contract analysis, document generation, matter analytics)
* Collaborates with IT and data teams to identify automation opportunities and optimize workflows
* Develops process maps and recommend improvements using data-driven insights
* Vendor & Resource Management
** Serves as liaison between vendors and internal teams
* Manages vendor relationships, SLAs, performance metrics, and delivery expectations
