Job Description: Transform technology into opportunity as a Systems Engineer with GDIT.

• Plans, designs, and implements various systems by conducting market research and evaluating new technologies.
• Interfaces with contractor and government personnel, confers with equipment and software vendors, and directs subordinate personnel to take appropriate courses of action.
• Coordinates and implements security operations functions in support of cybersecurity accreditation – risk management framework (RMF) continuous monitoring process.
• Maintains a current understanding of emerging technologies and trends in cloud service and relevant application and system technologies.
• Writes, edits, and prepares graphical presentations of technical information.

• Security Clearance Level: Active TS/SCI clearance. A TS with SCI eligibility is also acceptable.
• 10 years or more of progressive experience operating computer systems.
• Experience in engineering data center.
• Broad experience with virtualized environments and a variety of technologies supporting computing capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to provide an outstanding customer service experience across all organizational levels.
• Experience and knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, and related system level applications.
• Familiarity with cloud-based services and environments (e.g., MS Azure, AWS, Dev Ops, Kubernetes, clusters, containers).

  CompTIA Security+ CE. VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certifications preferred.
• Education: BS degree in a technical discipline.
• US citizenship required.
