Role Overview

Seeking an IT support professional with broad technical awareness across networking, systems, web technologies, and cybersecurity. This role serves as the liaison between agency staff and external IT vendors/contractors, helping coordinate support activities, track issues, and ensure timely resolution of technical requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage IT vendors and contractors.
  • Serve as the communication bridge between non-technical staff and technical support teams.
  • Track open tickets, monitor deliverables, and elevate issues as needed.
  • Support IT operations across networking, systems, cybersecurity, and web coordination.
  • Assist with IT asset management and software license tracking.
  • Coordinate website content updates (non-development).
  • Support help desk triage and issue escalation.
  • Assist with project coordination and task management.
  • Maintain awareness of IT compliance and cybersecurity standards.
Preferred Background
  • Experience working in a small office or government environment.
  • Familiarity with Commonwealth of Virginia IT standards (VITA) is a plus.
Required Technical Skills
  • IT vendor and contractor management.
  • General networking and systems knowledge.
  • Cybersecurity awareness and compliance coordination.
  • Website content coordination.
  • IT asset and software license tracking.
  • Help desk triage and escalation.
  • Project coordination and ticket/task management.
  • Microsoft Office and productivity tools.
Schedule
  • Monday-Friday
  • Standard business hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
