Compliance Analyst, IT​/Tech

Overview

The Compliance Analyst assists the IT Program Manager in the registration of all Application and Database Management System (DADMS) for inclusion into the investment portfolio for the Department of the Navy Office of Administration (DON OA) – Information Technology Division (ITD).

• Use the IT portfolio tool to manage compliance of Secretariat systems on all DON and DoD requirements such as FISMA and the Investment Review Board (IRB) process.
• Maintain an IT Investment Portfolio in support of IT technology initiatives and planning.
• Examine options and track current investments.
• Provide Business Case Analysis (BCA) for various IT options and alternatives, including:
  • Options analysis to assess modification of existing technology versus replacement.
  • Metrics to evaluate the success of investments and measure project progress.
  • Cost‑benefit comparison analysis, including BPR results.
  • Total Cost of Ownership assessment.
  • Business impact analysis of remaining with current technology versus migrating to replacement technology.

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in a compliance or related role.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Secret Clearance.
