Sr Network Administrator

We are seeking a Senior Network Administrator for a hybrid role based in VA. The position requires general IT knowledge across networking, systems, web, and cyber‑security, with an emphasis on coordination and triage rather than development.

• Coordinate and manage IT vendors and contractors.
• Serve as the bridge between non‑technical agency staff and technical contractors.
• Track open tickets, follow up on deliverables, and elevate issues as needed.
• Assist in website content coordination (not development).
• Track IT asset and software license inventory.
• Perform help desk triage and escalation.
• Coordinate projects and manage tickets/tasks.
• Use Microsoft Office and productivity tools to document and report.

• IT vendor and contractor management experience (≥5 years).
• General networking and systems knowledge (awareness level) (≥3 years).
• Cybersecurity awareness and VITA/COV compliance coordination (≥3 years).
• Website content coordination (not development) (≥5 years).
• IT asset and software license tracking (≥5 years).
• Help desk triage and escalation (≥5 years).
• Project coordination and ticket/task management (≥5 years).
• Microsoft Office / productivity tools (≥3 years).

• Cybersecurity awareness and VITA/COV compliance coordination (≥2 years).
• Hands‑on network or systems administration (≥3 years).
• Hands‑on cybersecurity engineering (≥3 years).
• VITA IT procurement / eVA system experience (≥3 years).
