Description
Tyto Athene is searching for a full‑time Help Desk Technician – Mid to join our growing Information Technology team. This individual will treat technical support with an independent, problem‑solving mindset and design intuitive solutions for internal users.
Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network‑related issues for users onsite or remotely.
- Manage and prioritize support tickets using our ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Perform user account management tasks such as account creation, permission assignment, and password resets.
- Provide training and support for end‑users on various technologies and software.
- Collaborate with IT team members on system upgrades, installations, and other projects.
- Document procedures and create knowledge‑base articles to enhance the support process.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve support practices.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Employ excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- US Citizen; no sponsorship required.
- Experience with GCC High Azure.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3‑5 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- CompTIA A+ certification highly desired.
- Basic understanding of scripting and automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical support experience.
- Excellent customer‑service orientation with listening and teamwork skills.
- Empathy and ability to relate to end‑users.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new systems and work independently.
- Adaptability to a high‑paced environment.
- Strong time‑management skills.
- Experience with remote troubleshooting methodologies.
Salary range typically between $70,000 and $80,000, with compensation based on education, experience, certifications, and other qualifications.
