Overview
The Senior Sales Executive/Solution Architect role is a hybrid role that combines functional thought leadership, solution architecture, and sales strategy in support of our Oracle Federal Financials practice. This is a hands-on role, selling, implementing and supporting Oracle Federal Financials in Federal agencies, utilizing your deep functional expertise in Oracle Federal Financials, including both on-premises E-Business Suite (EBS) Federal Financials and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (SaaS) and translating this expertise into compelling solution designs and winning sales approaches.
This position is central to shaping customer modernization journeys and supporting growth in the Federal financial management marketplace.
- Solution Architecture & Functional Leadership
:
Serve as the functional subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Federal Financials across both EBS and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. Lead discovery sessions, requirement assessments, and fit-gap analyses to understand Federal customer financial management needs. Develop solution architectures, process flows, deployment roadmaps, and modernization strategies tailored for Federal environments. Advise customers on Federal financial system compliance (e.g., Treasury, OMB, GAO standards) and best practices for leveraging Oracle technologies.
Support solution design for integrations with Treasury systems (G-Invoicing, GTAS, IPAC, CARS), feeder systems, and Federal reporting tools. - Sales & Capture Support

Act as the technical/functional lead for Federal capture efforts involving Oracle Federal Financials. Shape proposals, white papers, and RFP responses with clear articulation of functional capabilities and implementation strategies. Deliver compelling demos, architecture overviews, and executive briefings to Federal customers. Work closely with business development teams to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and develop winning capture strategies. Support pricing, scope development, and solution positioning for implementation, sustainment, and modernization offerings.
Maintain strong customer relationships with Federal CFO organizations, financial management offices, OCIO, and acquisition teams. - Other Duties – as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, advanced degree a plus, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 16+ years’ experience in selling, solutioning, and positioning consulting services in the Federal Sector.
- Prior work experience with Federal financial processes, including Funds Management, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Budget Execution.
- Prior work experience with Federal financial auditability initiatives, compliance reporting, and remediation efforts.
- Prior work experience supporting large Oracle financial modernization efforts or cloud migration initiatives.
- Extensive functional expertise in Oracle Federal Financials, including both E-Business Suite (EBS) Federal Financials and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (SaaS)
- Understanding of Federal financial regulatory requirements, Treasury interfaces, and DoD/Civilian financial management standards.
- Demonstrated experience with Federal financial processes, including Funds Management, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Budget Execution.
- Familiarity with the Treasury QSMO Marketplace or other Federal shared services/financial management marketplaces.
- Strong ability to translate functional requirements into solution architectures that align with Federal financial management needs.
- Prior relationships within Federal financial communities (Treasury, USDA, DHS, GSA, DoD, VA, etc.).
- Proven experience partnering with Federal sales teams, business development, or capture teams.
- Excellent communication, solution storytelling, and executive briefing skills.
- Ability to collaborate across organizations and with external stakeholders.
- Strong time-management and organizational ability.
- Strong ability to perform in a high pace environment and multitask.
