The Sponsor’s office is architecting and creating a coherent secure data ecosystem that is compatible and synchronized with the overall Sponsor’s data strategy and broader mission capabilities. These solutions and capabilities include a platform to conduct enterprise search, digital forensics, and data analytics. The Sponsor fuses modern, data-centric tradecraft and capabilities with other components in pursuit of extracting maximum value from existing data.

• Demonstrated experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Demonstrated experience working effectively in high-performing, cross-functional teams with multiple concurrent projects
• Demonstrated experience working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and translate them into technical solutions with minimal oversight
• Demonstrated experience in self-directed work with a strong ownership mentality and commitment to code quality, testing, and documentation
• Demonstrated experience context-switching between projects and systems as priorities demand
• Dev Ops Engineering
• Demonstrated experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins
• Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure as Code tools;
  Terraform and Cloud Formation
• Demonstrated experience with AWS services (to include EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Watch)
• Demonstrated experience with containerization such as Docker and Podman
• Demonstrated experience with strong scripting proficiency:
  Bash and Python
• Demonstrated experience with database self-hosting including installation, configuration, backup/recovery, high availability, and performance tuning using PostgreSQL and MySQL
• Demonstrated experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems;
  Prometheus/Alert manager and Cloud Watch
• Demonstrated experience integrating and deploying diverse software systems: AWS cloud services, open-source applications, COTS/GOTS products, and custom applications
• Demonstrated experience with networking, security, IAM policies, and AWS architecture best practices
• Demonstrated experience with Git-based workflows, branching strategies, and version control best practices

• Dev Ops Engineering
• Demonstrated experience deploying and managing data platform components:
  Apache Spark, Trino, Apache Ranger, Apache Iceberg, Apache Superset, or data catalogs
• Demonstrated experience with data lakehouse architectures and supporting infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience with secrets management solutions such as AWS Secrets Manager or Parameter Store
• Demonstrated experience with disaster recovery, backup strategies, and continuity planning
• Demonstrated experience or familiarity with API gateways and modern microservices patterns
• Demonstrated experience with cost optimization practices in AWS
• Demonstrated experience or background deploying and supporting AI/ML workloads or model serving infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience mentoring team members on Dev Ops and cloud best practices
• Demonstrated experience with No
  
  SQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB
• Demonstrated experience with additional monitoring tools such as Grafana or ELK stack
• Demonstrating experience integrating Sponsor s Enterprise services
• Demonstrated experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

• This position requires US Citizenship. Verification of US Citizenship to meet federal government security requirements will be confirmed

• The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• Clearance Verification:
  This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment

• This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA). Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance
