Overview

Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) is a wholly-owned Chainalysis subsidiary that provides blockchain intelligence solutions, including technology, training, and services to law enforcement, defense, intelligence and regulatory customers across the U.S. Government.

Blockchain technology is powering a growing wave of innovation. Businesses and governments around the world are using blockchains to make banking more efficient, connect with their customers, investigate criminal cases and track transnational threats. As the adoption of blockchain technology grows, more and more organizations seek access to all this ecosystem has to offer. That’s where Chainalysis comes in. We provide complete knowledge of what’s happening on blockchains through our data, services, and solutions.

With Chainalysis, organizations can navigate blockchains safely and with confidence.

The Chainalysis Training Team designs and delivers impactful, engaging content to drive education on cryptocurrency technology and Chainalysis products. We ensure our customers understand the ecosystem, and are able to best use Chainalysis solutions to achieve real world results. Training specialists are the face of those educational efforts.

As a Training Specialist supporting our Public Sector customers, you’ll develop and lead training and certification programs for the world’s top investigative and compliance practitioners, both in person and virtual.

Responsibilities
  • Create engaging, interactive content to teach our customers about new product offerings, launch exciting e-learning courses, and explain cryptocurrency developments to a global audience.
  • Build expertise across the Chainalysis product suite, on cryptocurrency technology, and investigative, compliance & regulatory workflows — and help others develop these same skills. Establish trust with customers through your approachable style.
  • Collaborate widely within Chainalysis, working closely with experts in customer success, product development, investigations, research, revenue and beyond to find the best way to meet our customers’ learning needs.
  • Help to further develop our training programs by innovating on our current content and evolving it for the future.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience supporting intelligence organizations as a military member, contractor, and/or government employee.
  • Experience conducting money laundering investigations, financial investigations, government investigations, and/or forensic investigations, or comparable experience with the ability to quickly learn new fields.
  • Understanding of illicit activity in the current National Security, Cyber, Criminal and Financial environments with an emphasis on cryptocurrency. In-depth knowledge of OSINT, structured investigation techniques, dark web, counter-terrorism, financial crime, cryptocurrency tax or insider threats.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of audience, from new hires to established executives.
  • Experience delivering engaging presentations across virtual platforms and in live settings with large groups (100+ attendees).
  • Ability to travel on an ad-hoc basis (4-8 times a year).
Nice to have
  • Special Operations Forces (SOF) experience.
  • Experience conducting cryptocurrency analysis or investigations supporting DoD with Chainalysis or other blockchain analysis software.
  • Previous experience as a trainer or teacher in a classroom setting.
  • Strong creative skills in content development.
