Role Overview
Freddie Mac is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Asset Management (ITAM) professional to support the end-to-end lifecycle management of IT hardware assets across the enterprise. This role emphasizes strong governance, accurate asset tracking, and disciplined documentation practices to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and operational efficiency.
What You Will DoSupport the end-to-end lifecycle management of IT hardware assets, maintain accurate and complete asset records, develop and maintain ITAM process documentation, coordinate procurement and deployment activities, perform inventory audits and reconciliations, and contribute to asset reporting and governance materials.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in IT Hardware Asset Management or a related IT operations role.
- Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management, governance, and risk controls.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Service Now or similar asset management platforms.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or maintaining process documentation and SOPs, preferably using SharePoint.
- Ability to physically handle and move IT equipment, including lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
