Job Description

Service Now Developer Introduction Make  a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize, and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The National Security & Space Sector of SAIC is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst Senior to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.

SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.

Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting‑edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

Job Description Performs software engineering activities in support of the Program Executive Office (PEO) to drive transformative change in IT resource planning and execution using the Acquisition and Budget Management (ABM) Tool and the Service Now platform as part of overall transformation efforts to provide innovative, emergent, and continual business process and enterprise IT solution improvements to the DCSA OCIO environment IAW DoD and DCSA OCIO policies, procedures, and data standards.

As part of an Agile team, uses a tailored SAFe Agile Dev Sec Ops  Scrum process to design, develop, document, test, and debug Service Now software. Transforms and integrates software applications using innovative solutions to solve identified problems. Prepares operating instructions and ensures software standards are met. Investigates and applies analytics best practices to deliver dashboards within Service Now to convey digestible and interactive graphics for more informed decision‑making capabilities.

Performs architecture design, prototyping, proofs of concept, development of standards and test plans, code and module design, and data solution debugging. Performs testing for movement from development to production. Ensures existence of backup and recovery capabilities, as well as disaster recovery/business continuity plans and other procedure and system documentation. Remains abreast of, implements, and executes processes for complying with Government data and security standards.

Researches, suggests, and implements emerging technologies, services, and protocols. Provides continuous software/hardware improvement, including integrating tools and information to facilitate data sharing across applications. Discovers, suggests, and implements integration opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Implement Service Now custom application using angular widgets.
  • Perform configuration, integration, custom programming, and other hands‑on technical activities in relation to implementation of Service Now.
  • Work on an agile team implementing core Service Now modules such as Incident, Problem, Knowledge and Change.
  • Implement Service Now customization's including UI Policies, UI Actions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Workflow Administration, and Data Import.
  • Participate in full software development life cycle:
    Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Training, and Operational support.
  • Serve as a Service Now developer on a cross‑functional development team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum software development environment.
  • Familiarity with implementing solutions on the Service Now platform.
  • Experience with scripting in the Service Now platform using JavaScript:
    Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Prior experience in Government Systems.
Preference
  • Service Now Certified System Administrator.
  • Prior DoD experience.
