The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (Pro Serve) team is seeking a skilled Senior Delivery Consultant - Security to drive customer success through their cloud journey. You will design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical requirements and business objectives.

This position requires that the selected candidate be a US Citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.

Key job responsibilities

Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.

Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.

Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies.

Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Sharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience.
3+ years in automating security operations, including scripting and automation, implementing security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code.
1+ years in advanced incident response to lead response efforts, including detection and analysis, and managing eradication processes.
5+ years of experience with security services and best practices, including implementing security controls and optimizing security measures.
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.
US Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

AWS experience, with proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation.
AWS Professional level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, Dev Ops Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty).
Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, Python).
Knowledge of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001, NIST frameworks).
Experience with enterprise security solutions (WAF, IPS, Anti‑DDOS, SIEM).
Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Salary & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
