Insight Global is looking for a Network Solutions Architect to sit on-site 5 days a week in Fairfax, VA for a leading, venture‑backed technology firm that is transforming enterprise networking and cybersecurity through Secure SD‑WAN, SASE, and cloud‑native managed services. The company empowers global organizations to modernize their IT infrastructure for the cloud era, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer success.
Role OverviewWe’re hiring two experienced Senior Solution Architects to lead technical engagements with federal customers and partners. You’ll design and deploy advanced networking solutions, support proof‑of‑concepts, and provide strategic guidance on secure infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical discussions and solution design for SD‑WAN and cloud‑native deployments.
- Create high‑level and low‑level architecture documentation.
- Conduct hands‑on validation of network designs and new product features.
- Deliver professional services and support strategic customer engagements.
- 15+ years of overall experience in IT/networking, with 5+ years as a Solutions Architect.
- Deep expertise in enterprise or service provider WAN/LAN design and operations.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and Multicast.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Shell, Python).
- Experience with next‑gen firewalls, IDS/IPS, and malware prevention.
- Familiarity with SaaS architectures and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Open Stack, VMware).
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm).
Location:
Fairfax, VA
Pay Range: $180,000 – $200,000 per year.
