Role Overview
GDIT is seeking an experienced Software Applications Tester to join our team to support Government activities at McLean, VA. The Software Tester will be trusted to solve complex IT issues while delivering outstanding customer service.
What You Will DoAs a Software Tester, you will be responsible for manual testing, interpreting system requirements, writing test plans and test scripts, executing test scripts and documenting results, and communicating with development teams the result of tests.
Why It Might Be a FitThis role requires a highly cleared candidate with active TS SCI w/ Poly to provide software development, engineering, database design and Software Testing in support of enterprise-wide systems and products for the Intelligence Community (IC).
Requirements- 10+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Manual testing
- Interpreting system requirements
- Writing test plans and test scripts
- Executing test scripts and documenting results
- Communicating with development teams the result of tests
- Agile
