Role Overview
We are seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer with a minimum of 10 years' experience to work on-site in Sterling, VA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux platforms, COTS applications, and cloud environments, as well as experience with security, databases, and Dev Ops tooling.
What You Will DoAs a Sr. Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for expert troubleshooting and solutioning, system testing and validation, and documentation. You will also assist with leading and overseeing a total system perspective, including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, and requirements of cloud services, infrastructure, and security domains.

Requirements- Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field
- Security+ CE Certification
- Expertise working with Linux platforms and COTS applications in Linux cloud environments
- Ability to demonstrate solid engineering rigor
- Expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills
- Experience with Cloud architecture and system design
- Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases
- Experience architecting or integrating with workflow, case or ticketing, or automation platforms
- Knowledge of IDAM requirements and technologies
- Demonstrated experience with system testing and validation
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience and comfort with Dev Ops tooling
- Familiarity with Containerized Development environments
